Mr. Chao has over thirty years of experience in the real estate investment management industry. He has successfully advised his clients in the acquisition of more than $2 billion dollars of real estate in the U.S. Notable transactions include the LAX Marriott Hotel, Sheraton Grande Hotel, Los Angeles; the Inter-Continental Hotel, Los Angeles; the Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles; the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, San Francisco; Hilton Hotel, Fremont; Hilton Hotel, Pleasanton; Marriott Hotel, Torrance and millions of square feet of office buildings, shopping centers, and multi-family units in California and other states.Over the years Mr. Chao has received numerous professional designations such as CCIM, SIOR, CPM, CIPS, CEC, ALC and CREA. In addition to his business activities, Mr. Chao has served as committee member & past vice chairman of the International Education Task Force of the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute as well as past president & director of the Chinese American Real Estate Professional Association of Southern California.Mr. Chao is the recipient of considerable awards and honors from various organizations, including “Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate” by the Los Angeles Business Journal, “Investor of the Year” by California Real Estate Journal, “Who’s Who in Real Estate & Development Industries”, “Who’s Who in Creative Real Estate” ,and “Men of Achievement”. He was selected by the Los Angeles Downtown News as “Top Dealmaker in Los Angeles”. He is a frequent lecturer, writer and often quoted authority on real estate and international matters.He received his BA degree from The University of Chinese Culture and attended graduate school at The University of Idaho.

Mr. Lee is a 30-year veteran in the real estate management industry. His responsibilities include hotel acquisitions and hotel asset management.His experience in real estate began in 1981 in property management in the multi-family and retail sectors. Over the years, Mr. Lee has served as the Director of Business Development for a Hong Kong based company, Regal Hotels International where he was instrumental in the acquisitions of the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel, and also secured the management contract for well- known assets such as the Argyle Hotel in Los Angeles. He has served as a consultant for several overseas investment companies from Hong Kong for their real estate assets in the U.S. Mr. Lee has also brought his experience to China, introducing US brand name 5-star hotels to the Chinese market. From 2001-2014 he was responsible for the opening of 18 different hotels in China.Mr. Lee is a leader in the Asian business communities. He has served as President of the Taiwan Hotel Motel Association, President of the Chinese American Real Estate Professionals, and Founder/Director of the Distinguished Citizen Society. He is a contributing member of the Asian Business League, Hong Kong Association and various Chamber of Commerce organizations throughout Southern California.Mr. Lee received his MBA from Oklahoma Central State University in 1980. He holds Bachelor degree in Law from National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan.
Ms. Liao is the managing director of Asia Pacific Capital Company. Before she joined the company, Ms. Liao was a senior associate at a real estate investment banking firm in Beverly Hills which focus on inbound investment from Asia. Ms. Liao has more than 15 years’ experience in real estate development, leasing, investment sales, debt/equity placement, consulting, including 10 years in Chongqing after graduated from Chongqing University.
Before she moved to the United States, Ms. Liao was the partner of a renowned real estate brokerage company in Chongqing where she was in charge the retail leasing & condominium sales of more than 20 projects. The company had approximately 150 employees with average sales exceeded $2.5 billion RMB annually.
Ms. Liao holds Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business Administration from Chongqing University.
|Stephen Morris, CPA
Mr. Morris is responsible for investment financing, acquisition and disposition, and investor relationships. He has been active in accounting and finance roles for over 9 years.Before joining Asia Pacific Capital, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Brantrock Advisors Inc., an investment management firm where he oversaw accounting, tax, and finance related functions for a $50 million private family foundation as well as several real estate funds based in Las Vegas. Prior to this, Mr. Morris served as a financial analyst at Watt Commercial Properties, where he prepared and developed financial models to analyze project feasibility. He began his career with Ernst & Young, LLP in the real estate audit practice where he served as a senior auditor.
Ms. Chao is responsible for financial underwriting, asset management, analyzing investment opportunities, and the execution of property acquisitions.Before joining Asia Pacific Capital, Ms. Chao was a Portfolio Analyst with Capital Group Private Client Services where she managed and constructed investment portfolios for high net worth individuals and families. She has 8 years of investment industry experience and specializes in customizing strategies for protecting and growing wealth. Prior to her work in private wealth, she spent several years working in alternative investments as a trading analyst for Barclays Capital Special Situations Group and also for the Structured Credit Finance desk at Merrill Lynch in New York City. Ms. Chao holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Marketing from New York University Stern School of Business and is a CFA candidate
